Studio 151 and Shelby Lee Fine Arts Gallery is a cooperative gallery in which I am co-owner of. Since the opening in September, 2011 the response has been overwhelming! We are conveniently located just south of the newly renovated stores on Market Street. We love to say hello to the carriage rides as they pass by the front door! The gallery features local artists and jewelers with a wide variety of artistic expressions. Our collectors are thrilled to find original art of lowcountry scenes, historic Charleston scenes, Civil War art, collage, abstract as well as hand crafted jewelry in a wide variety of styles and budgets. Gallery artists are Rosie Phillips, Colleen Wiessmann, Peggy Ellis, Vicki Gates, Shelby Parbel, Detta Zimmerman, Bob Graham, Ron Chamberlain, Amelia Whaley, Judy Clark, Beverly Grant, Dixie Dugan, Gina Brown and including Michael Kennedy and Daryl Knox.
